What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a popular way to have the new content on a website delivered to your browser as soon as it is available. It also lets you bring the content from multiple sites you visit in to a single place for you to read. Popular web browsers, including Internet Explorer 7, Firefox 2.0, Opera, and Safari, allow you to subscribe to these RSS "feeds" directly in your browser, or you can use special programs called RSS readers (also news readers, news aggregators). The AHRQ WebM&M RSS feed delivers titles and summaries from the latest issue of AHRQ WebM&M and links back to the articles posted on the AHRQ WebM&M web site.

How do I use RSS?
To use RSS you need to select and download an RSS reader that will allow you to collect and display RSS feeds. Many free readers are available. Search the Web for "news aggregator" or "RSS reader" to locate a reader to download. Please follow your specific RSS reader's instructions for setting up an RSS Feed.

RSS readers within browsers: These browsers automatically detect on sites by illuminating an icon on the toolbar. Read RSS feeds directly in the browser, scan for important stories, and filter your view with search terms or site-specific categories.

Firefox
The Firefox browser (available for Windows, Mac, and Linux users) has a built-in RSS reader that uses a feature called "Live Bookmarks" to enable the viewing of RSS.

Internet Explorer
Subscribe to RSS feeds through Internet Explorer 7. More information, including detailed instructions, is available here on the Internet Explorer website.

AHRQ WebM&M Podcasts
AHRQ WebM&M podcasts feature brief audio excerpts from "Perspectives on Safety" interviews. You can listen online, subscribe to the podcast, or download an MP3 file. The podcast feed also includes an archive of past interviews.

What are Podcasts?
Podcasts are digital media files that can be automatically delivered through subscription feeds on the internet to your personal computer.
